Thai Student Club of University of Canberra

Who We Are

The Thai Student Club of University of Canberra (TSCUC) whose purpose is to promote Thai culture to those in UC. TSCUC offers a community for anyone who is interested in Thailand and Thai culture. The club provides support to Thai students, helping them to adjust to living and studying aboard. In addition, we also aim to promote Thai culture and would encourage anyone interested to join us – it is not necessary for you to know how to speak Thai.

Our Story

TSCUC was founded in early 2013 by Korn Tansuwannarat with the vision to create a community for Thai students. Thipsarin Phaktanakul and Thosaphon Chieocharnpraph were advisors to the club until late 2015 providing support to the clubs and its members. Now, we are an active and vibrant club with more than 40 members.

Our Community

The club have close affiliations with other Thai student associations within ACT. We promote student corporation between the Australian National University (ANU) and Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). TSCUC also have strong friendship with multiple different universities across Australia.
